The Calistus Multiple Myeloma Foundation is a nonprofit with a mission to create awareness of the importance of an early diagnosis to plan for appropriate treatment. We are an organization dedicated to assisting anyone impacted by Myeloma disease. 

We are helping more families have access to the information and support they need to care for their loved ones with Myeloma Cancer.

 Serving Multiple Myeloma Patients in Cass, Douglas, Sarpy, and Madison Counties in Nebraska

Survivorship Program:

  • Survivorship Care Guidelines, and Nutrition. 

  • Caregiver training
  • Mental health first aid
  • Palliative Care

  • Caregiver Support

  • Stress Management

  • Treatment options for patients and families. 

  • Indoor pollution sources and education about Cancer Health disparities.

Educational webinars:  By an Oncologist, creating awareness and advocating for Multiple Myeloma disease. Receiving surveys on their needs so we can serve the patients better with the needs they have voiced. 

We provide medical appointment transportation for Myeloma patients by partnering with local transportation providers to get patients to their doctors and non-medical appointments.

Collaboration: Collaborates with a few clinics to help emphasize creating more educational awareness for early detection of Multiple Myeloma, provide medical equipment, and help treat affected individuals affected. By knowing the effect of cancer and the public health aspect in prevention and cures.
