Vision

“A world where Myeloma patients find strength in community, AND “Every Myeloma journey met with compassion and knowledge.”
Calistus Multiple Myeloma Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and a member of the Nonprofit Of the Midlands,  was created by Judith Obodougo, founder, experiencing the death of her father who suffered through multiple myeloma illness. The magnitude of losing a parent is heartbreaking after trying all the medical remedies. After the death of her father, the experience empowered her to be all that she could do by creating this organization to help others going through the same illness as their family member and helping the community. There was a leadership potential in Judith that was unmet until people gave her opportunities to explore her God-given capabilities, and chances to grow her idea. Judith is determined to help her community and around the globe, some people suffer from this disease without knowing what it is. providing information and resources to help affected families is her ultimate goal.  Calistus Multiple Myeloma Foundation was birthed out of the desire to pay forward the help Judith received when her father was a patient multiple myeloma patient. Judith is empowered to fulfill her mission and vision goals.
